Intermodal Container Drayage

Progressive Transportation Services provides both ocean container and rail trailer pick up and delivery service within the state of California. We provide this service on import and export cargo, as well as both inbound and outbound domestic trailers. Operating in northern, southern, and central California, we provide drayage service to all of California, and the surrounding states of Oregon, Nevada, and Arizona.
Our fleet of independent contractors serves the following ports:

Los Angeles
Long Beach
Oakland
Richmond
San Francisco

Appointments are scheduled for on time pick up or delivery of your merchandise within the delivery area described above. Movement of over-weight containers is also done, providing 3-axle chassis for legal movement.(extra fee)

Yard Pulls to move containers/trailers to avoid demurrage and/or detention are available at all facilities for an additional fee.

Container Storage

Progressive Transportation Services also provides container storage at all 4 facilities within California.

This storage is on a wheeled basis only, with limitations at each facility. This storage is on a short term basis only and is for the convenience of the client. Additional fees apply. Call the respective facility for additional costs.

Long term storage may also be arranged with current outside partners. Call the respective facility for further information.

Transloading

Transloading from ocean containers to/from rail trailers and/or over the road trailers is available in Southern California. Because this is a specialized service, please contact your local facility for service capabilities and cost.

Depot Services

While not a primary service in our company, we realize that providing a network of strategic partners to perform services such as light maintenance, and repair of equipment is necessary. We have established long term relationships to be able to provide this service if required to do so. Please check with each facility for availability and cost.
